Bish,
Nice 98D Off-Center - this is probably within the mint's 10% tolerance and wouldn't be considered an "Error," but I keep the nice ones too when they are that noticeable.

1937 LWH at work last night!

. . . also, an otherwise-normal 1998 that has some kind of metallic deposit on top of the copper on the back, but only in a few small (but VERY noticeable) chunks along the coin's rim. Need to photograph and get an opinion in the errors threads.

Probably one of the better finds of no real value. A 1931 D with Betty Roe carved into it.
I thought it was a scratch then I took a closer look. its small enough that with my loop it was hard to see. Had to pull out the microscope.

I'm always scared that when I finally find a 70S small date, that it'll look like that.

Ok here is a question when I went to the bank and asked for a box of pennies the teller gives me this odd look and says we don't carry boxes of pennies and I go can I get 25 dollars in pennies then I get that look again teller says 25 dollars I go yes mam goes to the vault brings out all customer rolls I smiled and left do some banks just only carry customer rolls or just the small banks

There is a local branch of a major bank near me who does the same thing. Only they claim that they break down all their brink's delivery to store on shelves in their vault or so they say. However I've also found that many branches give customer rolls to walk in that they don't know and save the boxes for their business customers and other clients that they know pretty well.

Keep trying them and you may get a box.

This afternoon I was in a bank that knows me and said that there was a gentleman behind me with two boxes that he was cashing in and that if I wanted them I could have them. He was also a roll hunter so I declined and went elsewhere.
