Found a 1915s tonight. My first coin with a mintage less than 10 million. It seems been washed with laundry but I will gladly take it.

Panamanian penny tonight. Or I should say, "Panamanian centavo," to be correct Not a Lincoln, but did find it in a roll of Lincolns, so . . .
Rest in Peace

Ok here is a question when I went to the bank and asked for a box of pennies the teller gives me this odd look and says we don't carry boxes of pennies and I go can I get 25 dollars in pennies then I get that look again teller says 25 dollars I go yes mam goes to the vault brings out all customer rolls I smiled and left do some banks just only carry customer rolls or just the small banks

Lonz....I have a feeling the 197? was struck that way. The reverse is like that too.

Raymo - might it be a Struck Through Grease error? It is conceivable that both the obverse and reverse had the same goop on them

Looks like a Greaser error. Look at the rim compared to the missing parts--it's still nice and clear.
