Hi Gang, I work in a Grocery store, one of the checkers called me up front and said some guy just drop off a bunch silver, they took all of that..they showed me a bunch of cent and nickle rolls, here's a pic of the cent roll...1964 D....  Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, nice! there are a few spots on some ....also I was looking on the Error coin thread they talked about L in Liberty rolled in the rim might be a variety...The whole roll is like that....

Ha, somebody got into their Dads coins or burglarized a house. Amazing that some people don't know that some are silver and spend them at face.

Wow nice roll.. I just showed my daughter that roll and she goes wow dad can you show them my penny collection on there please.. This is her cent book all hand picked from cwr's. 1959-2009 still in progress

No, we do get people bring silver coins every day, probably stolen, the checker said it was a older gentleman, Bills $1 and $5 red and blue seals almost every day. a Store Manger retired last year, he new I was a collector, but never said a thing to me. He had collected out of a stuck coinstar over 300 lbs of 90% silver over the last 20 yrs. So on his retirement he would be going threw all of it....

Thanks for the comments and yes we are looking for wheats but the ones she did find weren't shiny enough lol

Hi daniels, if I may suggest, to put the coins in a Dansco album w/ plastic on both sides.The album you have will turn those cherry red coins dark on the back side.it will a few years to do so, I'm sure someone will give you the number, just a thought....

... Still going through the 100 rolls I got the other day - found 5, rolls 95% full of Wheats - went through 3 of them so far... oldest was 1918 and 4 steels - they are all very worn grading from AG to fine, but heck - I only paid 50 cents for the rolL!
