Ohhhh sweet, I would much rather have your 1912-S ! I think mine is pure gold showing through the thin copper plating.

southsav, Did that roll really come like that? Very strange! Yinzi,. WOW! Five 09 VDB's. I've found three, but that's been over a span of about 20 years. One looked like yours, one looked like yours after it had been treated to a belt sander, and one was near Mint State. And yes...500 PAGES! At 15 posts per page that's 7500 posts of great Lincoln finds and congratulations from the finder's peers!

Finished a box tonight (Also finally called it quits to rerolling pennies and will be hitting up coin star): 2009 Cabin D x4 2009 Standing D x4 2009 Building D x6 Canadian: 1999, 1978, 1952 LWC: 1958 D 1955 D 1946 D 1925 S Hole Filler 1911 Hole Filler and Oldest Penny Found Other keepers: 2 1979 Off Centers (Minor).

Why not just take your cents to a Wells Fargo they don't charge for their coin counters. You just have to call and see if they have one of course.

Yes,the box/rolls I'm working on thus far are producing about 95% freshly minted cents in the rolls, very few coppers and zincs, and this wheat amongst all the shiny 2012's.
My boxes are usually full of coppers.
