I just went through a box of pennies last night. I found only 10 wheat cents and less copper than usual. I also got about 5 canadian pennies, one of which was a 1959. I dont know if that's of significance but it's my cutoff age for lincoln cents so I'm keeping it. Lastly, **drum roll** I found what appears to be my first WAM penny, 1998. I'd post a photo but I dont have a USB microscope yet. |

Those counterstamp cents are real cool. Found some over the years, an "I love You" heart stamp and a Kennedy profile stamp. There's even one for each of the 50 states out there.

I got it from my previous penny search.
Samuel, don't toss it back yet, as the obverse looks like a struck through die cap error to me. But not to sure whats going on with the reverse. I certainly could be wrong but I think there is a chance that it is not simply a Dryer Coin. |

Picked up $130 in pennies today (or rather hubby did). Boo for CWR that are nasty, ashy, and plain disgusting. YAY for the same roll that gave me my first 1943 Steelie. Hubby and I were talking about them today...and I got one! Onto finish the other $120.50 lol

What you guys think? It is not trick or altered photo. I want to know about this odd coin. It is magnetic, means steel. It has faint copper color in front.   |
