Last night I opened an unopened bag of cents (5000) from the bank. Within the first 23 coins in the bag I found both a 1998 and 2000 Wide AM. Now I am just hoping to find the 1999!

Still Lookin

What kind of bag are you talking about? From what bank lol

I have three branches of a local bank where I can get any bag from their coin counting machine. I usually just take the cents, nickel, dime and half dollars if they have them. Sometimes I have as many as eight bags of cents to go through. They are large clear plastic bags that the bank seals. The cents contain 5000, nickel 4000, dime 10000 and half dollars 2000.

I've been through about $8 of $20 I picked up and I have found a few awesome BU coins. I hope to post pictures of a 74 D, 88, and 91 tonight. They are absolutely stunning!

... so was going through the same rolls as yesterday after I saw a random facebook post about someone who found an IHC while roll hunting... thought to myself... how in the heck is that even possible... what was HE searching!?.... It would be funny if I found one....

....I sat down and opened up a roll... nothing too special... 1970S LD and some copper when I got to the second to last coin....

I said out loud to myself SHUT THE FRONT* DOOR* (actually said you know)!

Did another $10 and got 6 wheats. All common 40's - 50's dates and a 1971 Canadian. Not too shabby.

Just got through my second box and it was bad made me want to pull my hair out, but my wife brought home some random rolls she had to roll and her place of occupation. 2 2000 WAM first ever. but in the box I got a few random BU and AU to put in my album and 5 wheaties (my last box had like 14) and 15 canadian ranging from 72-01 also got a penny where the obverse looks like it wasnt stamped well(is this common or maybe worth something)and a super shiny 2009 but its like a black coat on it that is shiny I will try to get pics(when I figure out how to use it!

My camera setup is forever changing until I get it to where I want. For now everything is taken with my stock lense on my Nikon D5000. I have an Ikea swivel lamp and some shielding. I really need to get a copy stand or tripod and some better lights. CaptainWiffo has a new setup he discusses in the photography section and his photos are amazing

Looked through a $25 box yesterday and today while watching the Olympics.

Nicest find:

Found 4 S cents, all 1973.

10 wheaties. 6 40's and 4 50's - nothing special.

6 2009 P. (In three boxes I've had no Denver mints from 2009)

About ten or twelve nice looking 1993 P's. I kept a couple but threw the rest back.

I have the young Lincoln in 2009-p I have all the D's plus extra I just never get P's here in Idaho. Also, I have found quite a few 1970-s cents I know there is a small date and large date. Is it the same as checking for 82 lg, sm. If I do have a small date what is it worth?
