Going through a box right now. Just pulled a 1909 VDB. A 1906 out of the same box yesterday. Both are a little beat up.

Nice finds. I pulled a 1909VDB a few weeks back, so I know the joy you must have felt when you found it. I still haven't pulled an Indian cent.

Nice finds mountainman, I just finished a box, nothing special, 12 common wheats.

Wow! Great finds mountainman! What were the surrounding coins like? What kind of roll? CWR? BWR? Details! :-)

Lonz, they were machine rolled, strings and son. Above average quantity of wheaties, perhaps 30 or more. Cents around here have been hot or cold. A lot of rolls of solid 2012s but also some good rolls. A week ago I asked one bank for rolls. After searching a few, went in and asked to buy the balance from that box. That box, minus one roll, had over 100 wheats. Sorry for the long reply. HH-MM2

I still have yet to find a bank to give me string and sons boxes - sometimes get one or two rolls, but everyone is so overloaded with CWR's - That will be my mission for today! Find a box of rolled cents!! Or maybe get someone to order it for me! lol
the last run had some gooey pennies... like they were dipped in sludge - at least the BWR's are -fairly- "clean"

Finished $25 in CWR's :
2000D, 2006, and 2009 LP4's full date BU rolls 1945-UNC 1958D 1937 1944
$5.78 face copper = 23% ... poo poo on the wheats, but the copper wasn't too shabby!
Onto my SS box mission....

No problem with multiple posts there Lonz, none of the posts were spam or garbage. All good stuff :)
Congrats on finally getting a string and sons box. That's pretty much all I get around here. I hate customer rolls because they are always so filthy. I get rolls with cat hair and then I get super shorted on rolls. I'm not a big fan of bank customers. lol.

diggin the caddy there lonz...haha and as far as murrel about cwr I agree they are so dirty...and I have stopped doing them all together in any denomination....just not a lot of them around here and barely worth the time....not to mention if you do dimes I know I'm not the only one who has had dime enders with pennies in the middle....such a rip off....(people trying to get a few extra bucks out there)...pitiful

Murrellington - Oh that hair!! AHHHH! I did a bag of halves that had tons of (I hope) dog hair. I think the only way it might not matter if I found a LOT of silver or full Wheat penny rolls!! BenjaminsBaby - You saw my "Pimp Clock" - it's hilarious - just above the digital clock on the radio!! Haha... I LOVE my Caddy! (even though it's a pain in the rear end for gas and everything costs double for it) ...... so far got an UNC 1964 Canadian.... lotta copper too!
