I had a nice box of paper wrapped string and son cents last night. 1920 1934 1942 1943d x 13 1944 1944d 1945 1952d x 2 1954d x 2
All the steel cents were scattered througout the whole box and they are all mint state! Edge searching or magnet searching cents is fun!

Found these 9 nice 1950s wheat cents out of one box. There were more wheats but these shined like new.

Found a 1960 small date tonight. This one is very hard to find. I only found one before. Somebody finally teared up a mint set to release the cent.

Very nice wheats Mountainman!
And yes the 1960 SD is a bugger to find in circulation. So is that because they were only put into mint sets?

Quote: And yes the 1960 SD is a bugger to find in circulation. So is that because they were only put into mint sets? I was told by experts on this forum. It seems true based on my search history. I've been through about 350 boxes and only found 2 1960 SD. The other tough ones would be proof cents which must be released from proof sets. I only found two S proofes so far.
