Greetings all, I had intended to post box by box results, but with the holidays things got a little backlogged. Since my last update, I have done another six boxes and one bank bag. None of them stood out terribly much, biggest detriment was one of the boxes was ~70% shield pennies. Numbers below - I hope to pick up two or three more boxes this week. Wheat: 69 (only one notable â€" 1911) ‘S' Mint Business Strikes: 42 Lincoln Heritage: 123 Canadian: 220 (notables 1941, 1945, 1946, 1951) Other: 1960 D Small Date x9, 1976 Hawaii Counterstamp, 2000 D Colorado Counterstamp, 2000 WAM x2, 2004 Bahamian Penny, 2006 S Proof

Quote: this is an odd one. sounded like a canadian cent when dropped, isn't steel, and weighs 2.2g. the stranger part is the edges look like there are traces of reeds around the whole thing. any ideas? Spent some time in acid is all. I've found a few like this.

That looks like the reverse of a 1983 Doubled Die. Very nice find! Now, if it is the reverse of a 1982 Doubled Die.....

2 boxes and another 8 rolls from work so far this year. totals- 25 wheat pennies. one box was heavy with them and one pretty light. 1937 being the oldest. most 40's and early 50's. not tons of 58's and 57's thankfully.
22 canadian pennies. the oldest 2 being 1956 and 1959.
27 rolls of copper, each roll containing an extra 5 pennies so each one is 55 cents and not 50. it works best with my storage space.
not a bad start. I should be getting 2 more boxes today. then a few more next week. I plan on keeping track of it all and cant wait to see my totals by the time next year rolls around. I'm going to hit them hard this year as much as possible. for me being around 3 or 4 boxes a week.

daniels, I will send you a PM tonight. Might you be interested in this one that I just pulled from a roll too? Except for the spot on the back I'm pretty happy with it. Second one of these in the last few months.

I think I found my first 2000 WAM! First time ever sorting through them to look, I'm only 15 pennies in about 300 more to go, wish me luck. sorry I didn't get a picture of the front but its au/bu.

Guess I'll post what else I've found so far Wheats: 51d 37 52d 50d 46 48 46d Canadians: 1932 1933 1938 1940 1941 1942 1946 1952 1957 1958 1960 1962 1963x2 1964x6 1965x3 1966 1867-1967 1969 1970 1972 1974 1975x2 1976 1977x2 1979x7 1980x3 1981x2 1983 1984x2 1985 1986 1987 1989x2 1994 1997 1998x2 1999x2 2001x3 1952-2002(date is on the front?)
I think someone dumped their collection. Living in northern Kentucky it's rare to find Canadians Also found a bunch of copper(I'd say 40% of the 50$ box) and many pre 80's in great shape. Just started sorting for var and error. Will post more when I find it
