Austin - yeas I do. I go to many banks where I don't have an account. If its cents I'm after, I just say I'd like a box of pennies please. Usually no problem unless they don't have a box. Then I settle for whatever rolls they have on hand. When going to a non account bank for halves however, I usually open with, "Hi! I don't have an account but I'd like to buy some halves please". They ask how many and we go from there. Once in a while I may get a little resistance, but not much & not very often. I find most tellers very nice and glad to help. When one is especially helpful or gets me good stuff, I'll bring them a $5 gift card from Starbucks. Nice 1910 BTW!

Some of them I've briefly looked at with a loupe but not with my scope and I would say quite a few had some DDO one that I did identify was 1do 003. I just thought I would share that and let me know if you would be interested.

Am the only one who deliberately asks for rolls of "pennies," not cents, because "pennies" sounds, I don't know, more casual, less calculating?

They ask "How many?" I respond "I would like a box but if you can't do that then just $10 worth." Rarely do I walk out empty handed.
