I found a 1982 copper large date struck through the cap coin. It took a trip in acetone. I got two coins with Cuds on them. I will take picture for the two later when I got rid of the nasty dirt on them.   |

Just went through one roll and found these wheat pennies: 1912, 1929, 1939, 1945, 1948D, 1949, 1955D, 1956, 1957D. More than I found in the entire box I searched just prior.

Hey everyone I'm a total newbie but I have been on a great luck streak with pennies and nickels since I started!! Which I am sure my luck will eventually even out. But I just pulled a 1962 Silver Roosevelt dime out of a penny roll today.... Was pretty stoked on that :)) |

Hi, Daniels I do not have so much clue how much it is worth, except that a few sold records obtained from ebay sold list. I guess it depends on the coin grade and obverse struck through details. I would grade the coin's reverse side MS63 with a strong strike. I am not aware whether a strong strike is typical for this type of coins. Do you agree? The obverse side is not mirror like but show most of details. It is dated. I say it is in middle or early late stage of struck through. |

I know I know I need to start taking pics.... Unfortunately my camera takes really blurry pics of coins... I am going to get a new one so I can get good pics to show everyone as soon as I get paid... At least I can tell you that today I found a 2000 Wide AM when I went through my jar of 98's 99's and 2000's Hooray all I need now is a 98 and a 99 Wide AM |

first box in over a year...moved to MN in january of 2012 and finally got around to picking up a box from the bank (which I'm sorry to admit is actually right across from me...literally a walk across my apt's parking lot). pulled 30 wheats, nothing spectacular in them, 10 canadians which is less than I expected to find up here, but I also pulled my first WAMs, a 98, and a 2000. and luckily, I think this bank (wells fargo) has a coin machine so I can dump right back and I believe they'll get processed in a third party facility rather than in-branch, so I can buy and dump from the same location.

Surprisingly, I had four rolls where there were 3 or more LWCs.

I got two boxes of pennies. 80% of the pennies are 2013D. Are there any known varieties and errors worth looking for? Or Just dump those shiny pieces back to banks?

mdrosophila.. do you mean that 80% of the rolls were solid 2013D, or they were all mixed?

baysinger, it is mixed. Each roll has about 10 old pennies and 40 2013d new pennies.
