Thank you. It was a little dirtier but I dipped it and have it a little rub with Verdicare.

Pretty average box this go around. Common wheats and canadians. Had quite a few UNC 1960 cents, though. (Which I like) 4-Canadians 9-Wheats1939-P 1941-P 1945-P 1946-P 1946-S 1950-D 1952-P 1954-D 1957-D My next "box" is a mix of customer rolls and machine rolled.

Why are people keeping 69s and 70s, etc? Low mintage amounts? And are you guys keeping ALL or just ones in good condition?

Did my 21st box and got quite a few wheats, and it was a bit better than the boxes I've gotten lately. Wheats: 1929 x1 1941 x2 1944 x1 1944-D x1 1945-D x1 1946-D x1 1952-D x1 1954 x1 1956-D x2 1958 x1
Canadians: 1963,1976,1978,1983

When I first started collecting cents it was wheats mostly. Then I found a 1960 SD and I was hooked. So now I'm hoarding cents from 1959-1969 all in a/u b/u that is what is in my dansco plus proofs.

I've just been putting them in 2x2's I like to see what I have. But the wheat cents that have a lot of wear I put them in rolls.

Got another box, bringing up my total to 22. Got only like 10 common wheats.

I've gone through maybe 10-15 boxes of pennies so far, but I'm curious to know how common it is to find a proof. Has anyone else found any proofs while CRH pennies?

Quote: I've gone through maybe 10-15 boxes of pennies so far, but I'm curious to know how common it is to find a proof. Has anyone else found any proofs while CRH pennies? I've searched boxes consistently for around 10 years now and the box I searched earlier this week was the first box I ever found a proof in. It was a 1978-S and I kept it. It's in my "miscellaneous" set now. I just checked another box today and, aside from a ton of 2013-D cents, I found an unidentifiable Wheat cent, 1939-S, 1942, 1953-D, 1955-D (2), 1957-D, 1958-D (3), 1959, 1959-D, 1969-S (2), and a 1998 Canadian cent. Actually kind of low on the foreign/wheat count but not too bad I suppose. I kind of wonder if the continued survival of the Canadian cent won't be made possible by their circulation and exchange in U.S. banks and businesses?
