That's a lovely 62-D you pulled. Finding BU 60's is one of my favorites.

Welcome to the CRH hunting addiction by the way.

2 boxes of cents: a few wheats and Canadians, a bent 1982, a 1981S proof, and a counterstamped.

Here is one of my favorite CRH finds so far. Pulled from a roll of Canadian cents.

Here is a 1943P-1DO-001 (coppercoins)

Jack Jeckel, I found the same counter stamped Lincoln a while ago. Mine is 1963 though. Must be pretty common.

RamairOlds I saw your other post, AMAZING FIND!!

Decided to get Customer Wrapped today, got $30 in rolls. found 18 wheats! All common dates, but I might have to start mixing it up more often. Maybe get half bank rolled and half customer.

Bought 3 rolls from the till at work on a whim and ended up finding a wheat in 2 out of the 3 rolls. A 1926-P and a 1940-S. Both went into my CRH book I've recently started.

Thanks Redifin. I think opening rolls is just like scratching lottery tickets. There's something there or it's not....lol. You can miss a great coin by not paying attention and it does get tedious checking every single coin. I have found neat coins in both customer rolls and machine rolls. The 92 D Close AM is certainly the standout and I may never find anything like it again but it's still fun to collect the other stuff! My luck with the wheats has not been as good the past couple of months. I've been averaging only 5-8 per $25-$30 in cents. Last month I did find my first Indian Head penny, it was a 1900. Keep up the chase!

Went to the bank yesterday to exchange in my box for another box, but the regular teller (branch manager) I exchange boxes with was out sick so I was only able to get $20 worth of rolls. I got curious and looked at the ends of what I had.. I found 4 rolls of solid BU 2013 cents and one roll with the wheat side showing. I haven't opened it yet. There's just something about a wheatie sitting on the end of a roll and not knowing the date of it. The curiosity will get the best of me soon enough.
