Its really weird...I have gone through boxes and found a couple. But the last week I have had almost 1 per roll. Some rolls had two wheats in them. I was kinda perplexed.

In Canada, I was finding an average of 20 wheats per box. Too bad we can't get them any more from the bank...

Hi guys! New to the forum, and new to roll searching. I pulled 25 wheats out of $40 dollars worth of pennies last week. I also got several nice red 60s and 70s!

Pretty large date, I focus on per 80 mainly but I save all copper.

My oldest penny found was a 1897 Indian. It was beat up and the copper top layer was actually rusting off. Still, it was my first Indian head. Also, oldest wheat was 1928-D.

Searched my best box to date, 23 wheats, all common with 1939 being the oldest and 8 Canadian including a 1946.
