The '64 is a beauty but that '09 is a killer. The arrow head is also nice.We found one when we had the pond dug but it wasn't nearly as nice as yours.

The '09 is fantastic....had to come from a collection.
And the '64 looks like a proof.
Great finds!

More finds in Loomis rolls. Still amazing that BUs like these show up in thousands of common, often cruddy zinc memorials. Are bags of these still being found in bank/repository coffers?

ijn1944 More than likely, coins like the ones you found are from people who have put their change in a container over the years, and finally take to the bank. Nice finds.

Quote: Nothing exciting...common Wheaties. Wheaties are always exciting. They are not as common as they used to be. Quote: And this from customer wrapped rolls... Quote: Nice 41S! Most definitely!

This came out of a MWR of cents this afternoon with at least 6 wheaties. It's a 1909 sterling 6 pence. Made my day. I hope it's the right place to post it.

First box in a few months, nothing exciting at all, 11 wheats mostly 40's and 50's, but it got me excited again to hunt some more boxes of pennies.
