Quote: I think that is Savage Opress and not Darth Maul. Never heard of that character before. He looks like Darth Maul, so I went with it!

Thanks wheatchaser, it sure is a lucky way to make my IH debut. It is a hole filler for me in my IH book, which I have not added to in 20 years. Feels good to find it hunting. When I looked at the mintages, I new it was an incredible score! ANd it is in decent shape too!

Afterimage, I seemed to have that exact same thing happen to me. I bought two boxes of cents and when I got home... I noticed about half of each box had BU 1959-P Enders. Each roll that was an ender had between 25 and 45 '59s in it. I ended up with a total of about 1,070 uncirculated 1959's. congrats on the finds! I wish I had more dates that are BU like you did!

Quote: How do I quote someone in a post? Left click your mouse and highlight the post you want to quote. Then right click and select "copy". Choose "reply to post" at the top of the page. Then, right click your mouse and select "paste" in the reply area. Once you do that you have to type this in front of the post you just copied: (I'm spelling this part out, or you won't be able to see it.) Hit the left bracket key on your keyboard, type "quote" (don't use the quotation marks)and follow that up with a right bracket key. Then at the end of the post you quoted, hit left bracket, backslash, "quote", right bracket. It sounds a little complicated but it's really easy once you get it figured out. Hope that helps.

Dang! You hit the mother lode! I think I saw the pics of your find but do not recall if I commented on them or not. I just finished up going through the roll that I brought home with me. 1959 x 3 1960 x 4 I had a few rolls with 15+ BU coins. So far, only 2 rolls had nothing of interest within. I'm looking forward to going in to work tomorrow!

I've been reading this message board for a while now and just had to post today. I just recently started coin roll hunting for pennies. Today I stopped by the bank and got $10 in customer wrapped rolls. The first roll I opened was all wheats! Mostly 40s and 50s but still an exciting find.

Wow congrats on the great find Steven! Welcome to CC. It's nice to see that you had a good start to roll hunting. The rest of us only dream of getting an entire wheat roll, no matter what date! Try to upload a picture of all of the wheats if you can. We would love to see your first score!

I finished off the box of pennies this morning. Breakdown: 1960 x 4 1959 x 31 The final tally of BU pennies over the course of the last two days: 1970-D x 2 1968-S x 2 1960 x 9 1959 x 124 I'm guessing that somebody went through their penny collection, pulled all of their Wheaties and dumped the rest without looking at what they had.

So here is the breakdown of the wheat roll I found yesterday. 1929 1937 1938 1941 x 4 1942 x 4 1944 x 4 1945 x 3 1946 x 4 1946-D 1947 x 2 1948 x 3 1951-D x 2 1952 1953 1953-D x 2 1956 x 4 1956-D x 3 1957-D x 4 1957 1958 x 2 1958-D x 2
I went back to the bank and asked for the rest of the customer wrapped rolls. The teller gave me another $10 and I wasn't as lucky this time but still good results. 8 wheats, 1 Canadian, and over 200 coppers

I'm going to the bank today to get my weekly Friday box. Today is also my birthday, so hopefully I get a hole filler or two as a present! Will report back on my findings this evening.
