Found 2 98 WAMs in the first bag I have ever looked for WAMs. Have done 1000s of $ of pennies and the first 30-40$ I actually looked for them I found 2. How many do people usually find them?

How many do people usually find them? wow- congrats! I have looked in all boxes except my first and after 20 or so, I have 3x98 and 1x00. I'm on the east coast, so I should be able to find them easier than say California. So you are on to something good!

I've searched nearly two boxes plus the $20 worth I had just sitting in my house and have yet to find a WAM for any year.

Good finds! Hole fillers are great! Today I'm getting some rolls, maybe I'll have the same luck as well. Hopefully not another 2013 box...

Here's a tip: Ask for boxes from a large branch that deals with individuals AND businesses, they would have more boxes.
Also, start out on $15, still a decent amount, but you can still see if you're getting new 2013 boxes before its too late.
Once you find a bank you like, then get boxes. I go about once a week.

So, I got a box today. Definitely not another 2013 box! One hole filler: 1911 It's the oldest Wheat cent I have ever found, my second oldest find overall. BU 1959 worth slabbing. Definitely MS-65+. The pictures don't even capture its full beauty. I don't even keep BU LMCs, but this one is absolutely radiant. My first error, a 1972 LMC slightly struck off-center. Will post in the US Modern Error forum. I'm excited! I got 9 other wheats, nothing special. Pretty low wheat count for me, but I'm psyched about that 1911.
