Went through a couple of brink boxes of pennies this weekend. One box must have mostly been my own tailings. I got 3 wheats out of it. The other box I got 18 wheats. One was a really worn 1912! P.S. I love the dancing Pepper. He's my favorite

@Agrippa I have a lot of 1919 wheat pennies, but not like that one. Very nice condition for a 1919. That little "s" underneath the date really makes the coin that much nicer!

Another box, this one had a bit of an interesting moment during searching. I saw a Formative Years ender and decided to look at it with my loupe for shiggles, still in the roll.. Waiting for the experts over at Modern Varieties, but I'm pretty sure it's a 2009P-1DR-042 Overall, I had 14 wheats, an S-mint, 5 Canadian cents and the Formative DDR.

Got 20 rolls of pennies last week, I found 2 2009 Formative Years in 1 roll and no other 2009 cents in all the others. Almost feels like someone's trying to mess around with the CRHers. Got 14 more rolls yesterday and got 2 LWC, 1946 and 1956! I usually only find 2 in a box but 2 in 14 penny rolls?

6/1 results • 2500 cents searched • 819 coppers (nearly 33%, average) • 19 LWCs (average yield; 1929, 1935, AU+ 1952RD, 1958 D RB) • 32 LMCs (many nice 60s and 70s and 80s, a few nice Zincolns) • 24 Foreign (23 Canadian, 1956; 1 Bahama) • No Varieties despite many nice coins to look at Started slow, but finished stronger. The 52 and 58 D were upgrades and the 29 was a fun find. I may take a break this week to go through a pile of coppers I've set aside for varieties. Running out of containers to store the overflow â€" yikes! Happy hunting folks!

Last box was fairly sub-par as far as the standard stuff goes, 50 rolls and only 13 keepers total. 6 wheats, oldest is a dented 1930. 2 S-mint LMC3 Canadian cents. A 1993 LMC that looks like it may have come from a mint set, has bold, sharp edges like I've come to expect from proof coins. And an actual 2012-S proof LSC! The 1993 And the shield!
