thats is the first box of pennies I have gotten. if I were you I would try again you have nothing to lose(but time)

According to the PCGS price guide, none are graded at MS-68 yet. Do you realize if you found one and got it slabbed it'd be a $1000+ coin?

You guys are killing me with complaints about getting solid boxes. I'd search every single coin in that box for a 68!

Neither have I.

If I ever found a brown 95% copper one it would have to go in my 1922 "plain" hole.

Here's what I do...start cracking rolls. I'm usually after both a highest grade I can find AND the best coins for a complete BU roll. Start making a pile of the best ones, a second pile of "pretty nice" and a third of junk. I try to limit the "best" pile to 6 coins. When I find one that might be better, I compare with the top 6, if not better, it goes into pile 2.

When you're done, you'll have 6 top coins and 50 or more "pretty nice" for a roll. The hard parts are finding the number 1 coin out of the top 6 and culling the "pretty nice" pile down to 50 coins.

Take your top coin and compare it with known PCGS slabbed coins. It should be pretty apparent, after looking at enough slabbed coins pictures, if you think your coin can beat the slabbed coins pics. If you have a candidate, it's submission time!

Solid box of 2015 D's...

I picked up all the CWRs my bank had today, and out of all that, I got some quarters, dimes, and a dollar of pennies in old looking wrappers, which got me excited. However, there was nothing of interest except for a 1956-D among the penny rolls.
