Did a box today after a couple week hiatus from cents. 8 wheats, all from 1950 to 1958. 4x 1959D (just frustrating to see 195x and it not be a wheat!). Did find a real nice 1960D and 1962D, the 1960D looked nicer than a lot of 2014's I saw!
Prize was a very nice condition 1958 ( well, the nicest I've found in the wild)

And a dime

Well that's a free 9 or 10 cents, depending on whether they counted it as a cent.

As you do this for a while, you'll find many odd things: plastic coins, tokens, plastic caps. You'll also find lots of foreign coinage and the odd dime. My oldest circulation found dime (a 1942 Mercury) was found in a roll of cents. It keeps it interesting!

Are the 2009 considered rare finds? I have a sandwich full of them.

Delicious!

Nice find! I imagine a planchet would be pretty exciting to see in a roll.

Is it normal to get these here and there? I picked up two boxes from the bank last week and both were solid 2015-D.
Should I try again?
