AU-54 is not a grade. Plus, you don't need to make several different comments, you could just combine it into one comment.

I got my first rolls today which were part of $75 in rolls from my uncle. My brother got cash.
They gave me 4 Canadians (he lives near the border), 2 wheats (57-PD), a 2015-D brass plated and lots of copper including some AU+ RD coins (mostly 60s and 70s S mint and a 59-D). Also 2 2009-D Formative Years.

I like that idea; cash in the form of raw coins for the thrill of the hunt and a future purchase/investment. Good luck on the hunt!

This may have been answered before but can't find it: I see on ebay rolls of "unsearched" cents (and other coins) in a bank wrapped (crimped) rolls that have a "teaser" coin on the end, like an Indian Head or back of a BU Wheat cent.....how do they do that? I am sure the roll has been "salted" but it looks like a solid, undisturbed crimp. Do they people have machines to wrap and crimp them? what is the real story? |

AU 54 is a grade, just not one found in the price guides. You can also have a VG7 or F17. Coins DO fall in these grades in the real world. They dont' just jump from XF45 to AU50. that is a just the practical side of things.

I believe there is a tool to crimp rolls available for about $4.

$10 in cwr cents today found around 150 in pre 1982 Memorials, 1951 S, 1955 D, 1957 D and 1955 Canada cent also 1 2000 UK penny

A penny in a cent roll must have been quite noticeable from the outside, they're significantly larger than a cent.

Numisma it's a little smaller than a nickel but it jammed up the roll pretty good another one to toss in the foreign coin container
