Sportfanatic1 was talking about 2009, not 1909.

I keep all the 2009 Cents for the same reason I keep the 1959 LMC. Nothing special but still fun to collect

I can't find any information on the release date, so I guess it may as well be real. I would think the mint would release circulating coins very early in the year.

Knocked out box while watching NFL, another 18 wheaties including 5 from the 1930's. Also pulled a 1926 and 1928 and a 1901 Indian Head. First Indian head in over a year.

Since 1918, Lincolns have the designer's initials on the base of the bust. What SLZ was talking about was 1909 cents- at first they had the V.D.B. at the bottom of the reverse, but the designer ( Victor David Brenner) didn't like it so they took his initials off partway through the year. 1909 VDB cents are worth a bit more than 1909, and 1909-S VDBs can be worth hundreds or thousands depending on condition.
Here are the old and new VDB locations:

Here's the 1919-D from box 1. It has some dirt which should be easy to get off, but all in all a nice problem free example.

Nice one!
