Quote: I'm half-way through a box and I found this hole-filler: Very nice! Quote: What a shame. Really nice 1933 except for the obvious problem. A nice looking woody, save for that one spot.

jprine, that's a heck of a find! I've never found a U.S. coin in circulation dated 1931 through 1933.

Agreed. I have pulled many wheats from circulation but never one from 1931 through 1933.

Mountainman, that's a nice Cud! Too bad the last date digit and the mintmark aren't visible.

Very nice! If it is copper I would think about sticking that in the 1922 "Plain" hole of the Dansco 8100.

Thanks, Numisma! It's zinc. Quote: Very nice! If it is copper I would think about sticking that in the 1922 "Plain" hole of the Dansco 8100. Thanks, jbuck... I may put it in that '22 Plain hole anyways, even though it's zinc.

It would certainly be my most valuable if I had found it. Keep looking! That 1909-S might not be far behind.
