Thanks again "Errers and Varietys" for the information. Are misaligned die's and Die Deterioration Doubling something that people are collecting, I have been trying to find a CherryPickers' Guide to help us, but it seems to be sold out everywhere. My daughter loves to look for unique coloring or ware, and I like to fill holes in our collection and learning the history of the coins. I wish our area had a club ( I am thinking of starting a fun hunting club for kids as I have many that like to help me hunt). However, there is so much I still need to learn.

Nice finds Just a Dad. It is really awesome that you are teaching kids about coin roll hunting. I got two boxes of cents today, and two rolls of cents at Walgreen's, so altogether $51 in cents. I will start to search them tonight. Hopefully I will find some good coins.

Die Deterioration Doubling is not considered collectable to coin collectors. For Misaligned Dies, only the severe Misaligned Dies are collectable.

Hi, my daughter loves finding toning and worn out coins. She likes to figure out what happened to cause it. Here is a couple of worn out ones from the last box, that she left on my desk that she pulled out. She really loves the ones with rainbow coloring. She loves the ones like this one on ebay with the title "1859 Judd-236 Paquet's Liberty Seated half dollar HIGHLY UNC TONED RED bu PR RAW", but at over $1,200 dollars and 46 bibs already that at happening, but I do have a 1987 Silver eagle that is starting to color (tarnish?) for her, and I think we are going to start a book each on them for fun (birthdays, Holidays and special moments) that we can gift each other as a tradition, maybe we will do it will all 3 girls, not sure have to talk it over first with my lovely wife.

I searched through one box of cents (I still have another box to go through), and found some wheat cents (including a 1923-s ender that was showing on the reverse side), 2009's, Canadian pennies, and an interesting toned cent. I will soon start the second box.

Nice finds tencentpenny. Our first box this week got us (14) 2009's, (11) Canadian's) and 6 wheats. 1927 1930 D 1940 1944 S 1946 1948 D The 1927 had what appeared to be a BB impression and the 1930 D was a hole filler for us .

We are working on our 2nd box this week and came across this 1955. It has a weird spot on the rim above the date.

Ughhhh. My first ever searched coin box. They were machine wrapped but 50 rolls and found 2 copper. Two pennies. Unreal. 1974 1977
Worst part is next box is starting off the same way.
