Hi, sorry that we have not posted for a while. I just started my student teaching and also the bank we go to is now charging 10 cents a roll. They said it was fine getting us boxes before as we were the only ones, but now they all of a sudden have a bunch of people wanting rolls. We still get coins, just not much.
Also, my middle girl (9 years old) just passed me and now her penny album is more complete than mine. She has the luck, and she mostly looks for coins with rainbow colors to boot.

Well it's been a while since I posted but figured I had to post this one. My pick up bank called me last week and said they had someone drop off a bunch of Penny's and when they were putting them into the machine they had seen quite a few Wheaties and told me they had marked the bag up for me. Finnaly got through sorting them and the following were my findings. $50 bag 1395 coppers 6 Canadian 172 Wheaties! 7 Indian heads!!! I unfortunately lost my picture of the Indian heads so I will have to get another. Below is the listing of wheats found pre 1940 even cooler to see some mintmarks on some of the early years: 09,10,12,13,14,16,16d,17,18,19,19d,20,20d,21,23,25x2,26,26d,27,28,29,29d,30,34,34d,35,36x2,36d,37,37d,37s,38,38d,39

It has been a while since I hunted and posted. But a leopard can't change its spots, so I picked up a $25 box when I cashed a refund check at the bank. This was a strange one. The first roll, a Roosevelt dime 1988-P, a 1951 Canadian cent George VI, plus two more Canadian cents. In all, total for the whole box, thirty Canadian cents, the oldest was the 1951 George VI. Not one wheat back, none, nada, zilch! The balance of the box, 701 coppers and 1768 zincs including two 2009. At least I am nine cents ahead on the box and there were none of the corroded zincolns. Also, not a single "S" mint mark! The wrappers say, "Moolah" with a picture of a cow with dollar signs for eyes. Happy hunting everyone!

Found this 1910 LWC in a commercially-wrapped roll. Looks like it just fell out of an album. Gave it an acetone bath to remove what appeared to be a small smear of old glue on the obverse. No rubbing, of course.

Hi Everyone, New coin roll hunter here! Found this 1982 penny in a roll and it looks odd. Is this some form of lamination error on both the obverse and reverse? It is also really thin compared to a normal one (see photo). It also only weights 2.28 grams. Any insights would be very much appreciated! Value wise? Thanks!
