RayFranklin45 New Member United States 1 Posts	Posted 11/23/2020 12:36 am Hello everyone, I recently started collecting coins and have had some good luck. I think anyway. Going through coin rolls from the bank, I came across what I believed to be a damaged penny. You can imagine my surprise when I discovered the double ear. It was and still is very exciting. Any thoughts and/or suggestions from veteran collectors on my next steps regarding this coin would be greatly appreciated. I have thought about contacting Mr. Wexler. Petespockets55 Pillar of the Community United States 5772 Posts	Posted 11/23/2020 08:07 am Really hard to tell from the images but I suspect it may be a die crack or circulation damage. Before sending this one off, see if you can get some clear closeups. You might also try soaking in acetone to see if the raised areas above the ear will come off. Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups. We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow. Report this Post to the Staff
