Can this coin be saved from the damage already done and if yes then how can I do it without more damage being done?

Probably not. Try some acetone then some verdi-care.

Agree--acetone to remove any oil-based staining, adhesive, or other organic crud. Verdi-Care will improve the green-infected areas, but won't completely eliminate it.

Saved from damage already done? No, damage is damage from which there is no return, sorry. You might be able to prevent it from getting worse, but that's about it.

Thank you for the information and yes I do understand that I cannot reverse damage already done but I can try and save it from more harm. I tried to look up what verti-care is and I cannot seem to find it. Can somebody maybe explain to me what it is or what I can find the ingredients in?
