Wondering what you think about this 1850 Seated Liberty dime. I think it has good eye appeal.
Considering the area around the date (cleaning?) I guess the grade would be VF details?

Date area has been fussed with, but I think not enough to detail it. I'll say VF-35.

It looks like it took on a bit of pencil eraser therapy. So many album coins suffered that fate back in the day.

I agree with VF, but I'm at a tossup on details. It sure would have been an eye appeal coin without the obverse issues.

no matter how long this coin sits that rubbed area is going to be recognized. I have to go with VF details

Thanks guys for your input. I made an offer to the seller and it was accepted. I will await the actual coin and see what it looks like in reality.
