What is correct name for a series of numbers in correct order;missing 1 digit
12345678. Ladder. 8 digits in order
13276458. Brooken ladder 8 of 8 out of order
12365489 what is this called when missing digit

#1 is a ladder as you indicated.
#2 & #3 are only mildly interesting but would carry no premium.

I agree with kanga. The broken ladder moniker is merely a hype description used primarily on ebay to artificially add value to a note with little to no value. I've heard both broken ladder and step ladder.

2 and 3 keepers only as One Dollar note, in CFU (Crist Flat Uncirculated.
Higher denominations not keepers due to the ravages of inflation.

The first one is called a ladder. 2 and 3 are called "Face Value" as that is what they are worth.
