Picked up a 2019 50p Paddinton Bear (St Pauls) piece while shopping the other day. While having a look I can see that the uncirculated ones go for a fair amount, and you can get silver ones as well. I'm not sure if I've got anything exciting or if it's just worth the 50p?

Any help would be appreciated!

to CCF. Not my area, but it looks like a proof version, not a business strike. Weight should tell you if it is silver or not.

Thanks John, Do you know how much it should weigh if it is silver? :)

Do not know the weight, sorry. As I said, not my area.

I would keep it anyway, and at least until you know that it is common, and in wide circulation.

That is what I do with any unusual coin taken from pocket change.

I would say normal (business) strike. They are not particularly scarce although there are collectors for them - mostly kids or doting grandmothers! If someone needs on, they might give you £1 or £2, but unlikely more.
