This is one that is pretty tough to find.....in an old unattributed holder. The shadow is a little misleading. It is definitely small denticles.

Looks like mine - which PCGS did not grade as Smalll Denticles - they really look for the extreme die state. So I still don't have a good PSGS 1948 A to SmD for my variety showcase.

It is very hard to capture the image on the older holder coin. The plastic that holds the coin overhangs the area that is critical and requires the coin to be held at an odd angle. The colouring also has an impact. It is perhaps not quite as small but in hand they are very close.
