I found this years ago in a small bag of wheat cents I had received as a gift. This is the very first variety I ever found and it's what got me into the cherry picker's guide. Thanks for taking a look!

Thanks sheldius, Coop! It is nice to think about how much I wanted to find a single doubled die during that time and then take a look at my binder now.

Awesome! If memory serves correct my first found doubled die was a 1955 D LWC DDO-001. Not much of a looker but I was hooked on varieties from then on out.

Thanks Jim! The 1955-D FS-101 is a great find for your first doubled die. I still haven't found that one yet! I believe my first doubled die was a 1964 D half dollar tripled die FS-103 that I found in a junk box.

Nice find. Nice pics.

Yours looks like it could be a medium class 6 DDR. Variety Vista only has stages B thru D -- any chance this is a stage A with a different reverse?

I'm thinking the class 6 your are seeing is just some circulation flattening. The dots in EPU aren't enlarged so I'm inclined to think it's not a DDR.
