Can anyone please help me identify the cause of the errors I see on this quarter?

Damage to a coin is just damage. Cause, being out there for over 50+ in circulation. Not mint errors. Just damage to a coin.

The doubling on the beak is Machine Doubling. A hint of obverse image on the reverse might be Progressive Indirect Design Transfer.

I need to get a better picture of the eye. I have compared it to others and it is the same but two lines for the pupil instead of only one. Its to dark right now and I will get to much glare on my horrible phones camera using a light so I will post it tomorrow.

Please, no more photos. As already mentioned, your quarter suffers from slight Machine Doubling and post mint damage. Not every coin is an error coin.

I am sorry for bothering you. I understand about asking so many questions but I'm not just picking every coin I find and ask you about it. I have been saving these questions up for over a year now and thought I finally had people to ask. I apologise

I guess there is no point in me being a part of this forum. This is kind of sad for me to see and hear because I was hoping to have people to talk to and didn't mind listening obviously I was wrong. Sorry for bothering anybody everybody. Goodbye

@my2cent, sorry that we have not been as welcoming as we aspire to be. I can see that your thread languished a little bit and didn't get the richness of replies that I think that most threads here get.

Post strike high bounce machine movement, that altered the taller devices, but passed over the tops of the shorter devices. Hit just that area on the coins devices. The Machine Doubling on this event can vary. It depends on how loose the machines mechanics is. Some times low, mid and higher up front the die hop after the strike. It varies from strike to strike. Note the slight differences?

I'm trying, that was just driving me crazy along with a different anomaly I have found mostly different random dimes. I know it is sort of off topic but can you tell me what this is on the eyes I keep seeing?

Please, one coin per thread. Start a new thread for your dime. Thanks.

It's multiple different coins all dimes from different years and I knew someone would say something about one coin per thread. That's why I haven't brought it up. Should I just put it on the general us coin and currency forum?
