Hi guys,

I have this 1934 Lincoln Wheat penny and wanted to know if this is a lamination error on the obverse? If so, what type of lamination error is it?

Also wanted to know if this penny would be considered a woodie? I see indications of an improper alloy mix on the obverse.

Not a woody, but it is a lamination.

Definitely an obverse lamination. Better lighting on the reverse may show legit woody characteristics.
