I was thinking maybe these two specimens are cleaned, but I'm just not sure...maybe dipped and re-toned? What do you all think, would they likely straight grade with a TPG? Grade-wise they look pretty decent...wear seems minimal and surfaces clean, though not much luster as far as I can tell. Thanks for your thoughts.

Both au plus- The often overlooked wing on the headdress shows only a touch of wear, no wear on the bands or vertical lines. I would suspect being cleaned.

Nice details on both of these coins. I am not sure if the first one was cleaned, maybe. I think the second one was cleaned, especially on the obverse. The darkness of the cap and right in front of the hair doesn't look it was done very well. Still both are very desirable coins. They both look to have split bands.
