It looks like doubling from glare. It might help to defuse your light source. Glare is a problem on ultra shiny cents.

to CCF. Way too much glare,you will need to put a filter over your light source. Also,it is called a doubled die,not a double die.

But it is Machine Doubling, not a doubled die. Note Pluribus on your images. note the Machine Doubling on the tops of that device. That is Machine Doubling on an incuse device. A doubled die would have the devices reduced in size on incuse devices:

Note the reduction on the incuse devices. That is what a doubled die would look like on incuse devices. On a doubled die on incuse devices would look like this:

Just like the image you posted. Not a doubled die, but Machine Doubling.
