Found a 1872 Seated Liberty 10C that seems reasonable at first sight. What do you think? Pics are a bit unsharp, unfortunately.
The coin has a little nick at the rim just above the hat, but overall the coin looks VF to me.

Might make EF-40 sharpness, unsure if the rim nick would detail it.

I asked the seller if he/she can make slightly larger and sharper photos without the yellowish tint.
Let's see if I get a response.

I'd say VF-35, leaning towards straight.

That little nick has a corresponding rim bruise on the reverse. Looks like a VF but a lower value piece. Maybe $30 retail at the high end.

Grading fee would be silly for something like this, so we'll likely never know.

Only if it's a very rotated die.

I think you're safe calling it a VF. As far as the nick goes...since it's only on one side of the rim and doesn't distort the shape I would call it a straight grade. If it's going in your album and not to a TPG then the nick will probably be somewhat hidden once nestled in her slot/hole.
Good part about being a buyer...unless the price is right...you don't have to buy it and you can keep looking for one that makes you feel good.
Good luck!
