Brackin's was apparently once a thriving retail chain spread across the southeastern U.S. Apart from this 21mm sized advertising token, though, I can't find any trace of its having ever existed. Perhaps somebody here recollects its heyday, and maybe can even relate the reasons behind its demise?

Do a search for Brackin's Department Store in Birmingham Alabama. Looks like it went out around 1947.

Thank you. I still don't know why my web searches were fruitless.
