I have this 1909 Canadian quarter.... any idea how to find out what grade it's considered, or how much it's worth?

F-15; maybe buried at some time. Doubtful $10 due quality of surface.

VG-10 maybe F-12 tops. The corrosion makes it a problem coin. But what always intrigues me about coins like this is why and when it was taken out of circulation. It was in no pocket or till in the 1960's. It likely saw its last transaction in the late forties. All of this anecdotal history and none of it survives.

I think that most people would just buy that coin for melt value plus a little bit extra.
