I don't do "bright and shinies" but isee just the lightest wear on the hair curl in from of the ear and none one the reverse. The eyebrow also shows no wear. Depending on the TPG, I'd say 58-60 on a slightly weakly struck Obverse, RB. There is a scratch through leaf 4., so maybe XF+. Nice coin with a good die early in the minting year.

There are some scratches here and there but They're probably not visible with the naked eye. I guess an MS 60 then?

At this stage it's a lustre game. If it's there and unimpaired it'll go MS. Pictures will never beat an in hand evaluation with coins like this.

Well MM is the only one that had it right. It just goes to show how grading is very subjective.
There is not a mark on this 1859. Very beautiful coin at that. Lots of die clash and DC though. It came from an older 2 digit ICCS flip.

Well, I do say I was close. Coins like this are notorious for grading as what seems to be there sometimes isn't.

Beautiful coin and great photos!

What did it originally grade?
