My boyfriend boyfriend brought home his coins and apparently he has had these for a while. Are they real coins? I know I wouldn't be able to spend them or anything but it's really cool to have in my collection. Do they have any kind of value at all? Report this Post to the Staff

The "coins" included are not real and can not be used as money. They are mostly intended as a novelty item/conversation piece. Collecting history one coin or medal at a time! (c) commems. Circus Pillar of the Community United States 3079 Posts	Posted 12/11/2020 05:51 am These were also used in a couple of coin tricks, when I was building and selling magic tricks I always had a box of them on the table. but as said mostly sold in sets as a novelty item called small change.
