Has anyone ever seen something like this?
My boyfriend boyfriend brought home his coins and apparently he has had these for a while. Are they real coins? I know I wouldn't be able to spend them or anything but it's really cool to have in my collection.

Do they have any kind of value at all?

These type of sets have been around for many years (20+) and have minimal value. The "coins" included are not real and can not be used as money. They are mostly intended as a novelty item/conversation piece.

That's what I thought but it is definitely a good conversation and addition to my collection. My boyfriend has had this set since 1986 and he said it was old then. Awesome, thanks for your input.

Yes value only as a novelty, but still fun to have.

These were also used in a couple of coin tricks, when I was building and selling magic tricks I always had a box of them on the table. but as said mostly sold in sets as a novelty item called small change.

Nice "little" set. Their real value is only as a conversation piece.
