I'm currently writing an article about the November 1999 millennium quarter (The Airplane Opens the North), and I would like to get in touch with Brian R. Bacon, the coin's designer. Does anyone know him and is able to connect him to me? He lives in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He is a retired firefighter captain who served in many divisions, most recently with the no. 11 in St. James. He also attended the coin launch at Carp airport in 1999. Your help is much appreciated. Thank you!

I would suggest you contact the local union for the firefighters, if not then talk to the fire halls themselves (where he served). lastly, contact the mint

Thanks - I wasn't aware that exists. I'll try contacting the union and hopefully get a reply. I don't have a track record as a writer, so I doubt the mint would give out someone's details to me.
