Quote: ...I have also started a new Type Set and focusing on 1794 thru 1964. I am using the PCGS Registry and decided as well that I would be adding slabbed material only and limiting it primarily to PCGS... Very nice! to the Community!

I've started bringing my virtual 7070 type collection up to NGC registry spec. This will be a long slow process, as there are a few expensive slots to fill with problem-free slabbed coins. At least the gold is all taken care of: https://www.NGCcoin.com/registry/co...sets/307879/

RANT ON I understand the USPS is having a terrible time with Covid and the package volume has to be crazy. BUT I DO NOT UNDERSTAND how all 4 packages got shipped over a week ago and I only get 1 package so far (another is out for delivery today). I have 2 packages that got to the regional destination facility on the SAME DAY, the first package (the one that got there later) I got the next day the other is still at the facility. RANT OFFOH Well! But in terms of good news I moved up a few places on the NGC Registry and today I'm picking up (locally) my first 7070 Coin that I have no examples of.

I asked the lCS to put a few coins on hold for me, this was the first one I was able to purchase. Its my first ever Half Dime. I still have a few common modern coins out in the US Postal System, so hopefully they will come and I'll get more pictures. Once those few come in, I'll post what I'm missing and document the journey.

Looks like a great coin to start out the half-dime types.

I'm trying to get all the modern coins I need first as the cost is pretty low. So today's pick up is a common 25 cents. Now that we've had state and ATB Quarters, I'm missing the eagle on the back. And in a deep cameo proof, it looks really nice.

Thank jBuck for the encouragement! Today's coin is the 1909 VDB. I have a few but none were slabbed. The quarter above the 1909 were purchased locally. I still have a few coins in the USPS system traveling around the country. I'm hoping they come before 2021. There are a few coins that are still not on the registry, when I buy PCGS slabbed coins, sometimes they take a few days to get added to the registry.

Nice coin...will you keep the slabbed ones separate or break them out for your 7070?

@winesteven
Thank you!
@kopper Ken
This is going to be a slabbed set so none are being broken out. It's a virtual 7070.
