I'm hoping someone will be kind enough to grade this coin for me. I looked it up in the 2021 Red Book & was surprised to see the value listed as $30. That doesn't line up with what I had expected so I'm seeking other opinions.

This is the 2nd of 3 of these coins I'm seeking help with.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Would you happen to know a site I can go to that has accurate values of these coins? 8m still fairly new to collecting and I'm just trying to learn all I can. Or would you have an idea?

Generally ASEs are worth a function of their metal weight. Few have real value beyond that. Figure most are worth between $30-33

What would make them hold value? I know proofs and w mint marks are always good at holding value. But beyond that I am not too sure.

Here is a site for values, also check ebay sold values http://www.numismedia.com/fmv/fmv.shtml
Red Book is only good for information not for values. They usually over price at about 20%. That coin lacks any eye appeal,IMHO...silver value only.

Proofs generally have extra value ye, but West Point produced examples don't always. For example the 2017 ASE is the exact same price regardless of if it's a P,S or W. Otherwise the only ones that have extra value are toned or MS70.
