Interesting plate bubble lamination with rim cracks, also show signs of possible Dub ear but wanted opinions on that may be lighting ^^ also maybe a wddo-001 but also not 100% So let me know what you think. Sharing is Caring

I am really hoping somebody will give their input on your coin, too. I have some 2020's with ear doubling also. So really want to hear where the hobby as a whole is at on these brand new varieties.

It's more than likely a plating blister and I would say a planchet flaw as well. It looked like there are a couple of blisters in the field. Common on 83-84 coins. Not common on shield cents.

yeah seen what looks like to be blisters in field but looks to be a lamination by rim at date, lines run from we cracks to next to date and also go thru nose of Lincoln, dont think the ear I blister not pronounce enough and hair looks fuller above normal. and thank you for feed back willburton

Could also be maybe an over polished die? because you can definitely tell in the nose

@Ijn1944 did some more research on extensive linear plating bubbles because I'm still learning so with that aspect but couldnt find anything on if it could cause the cracks and lifting making it look like a lamination on rim, wondering if there is anywhere I can go for that? or could it be Occluded gas bubbles and that can cause a lift and crack?
