At the end of the year. Congress is expected to designate the New River Gorge in West Virginia as the New River Gorge National Park and Preserve. Does this mean an additional ATB Quarter design for 2021? Here is the news article: WASHINGTON, D.C. (WOWK) -The New River Gorge National Park and Preservation Designation Act has been included in the year-end legislative package. According to U.S. Senators Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV) and Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV), the legislation would redesignate the New River Gorge National River as the New River Gorge National Park and Preserve. U.S. SENATOR SHELLEY MOORE CAPITO (R-WV) Congress is expected to vote on the year-end legislative package soon. If approved, the Act would make the New River Gorge the 63rd National Park and 20th National Preserve in the United States. The legislators say it would also ensure hunting and fishing opportunities in the area are protected for future generations. Capito and Manchin first introduced the New River Gorge Park and Preserve Designation Act in Oct. 2019, while Miller introduced a companion bill in the House. U.S. SENATOR JOE MANCHIN (D-WV) The legislators say redesignating the New River Gorge will promote the beauty and historical significance of the area. The Act would create a 65,165-acre Preserve and a 7,021-acre Park. The legilsation would also keep 301 acres of the Lower Gorge open following requests from hunters while opening up 368 acres in Grandview for hunting.

No. The ATB quarter program was designed to feature one coin from each state and territory vs. one for each National Park in the US - states generally have multiple National Parks - one was selected from each. West Virginia got their quarter back in 2016 - Harper's Ferry.

The ATB series designates one park from each state and territory. A site was already selected for the West Virginia coin (Harpers Ferry), so there won't be another for West Virginia.

Mercifully the series comes to an end in 2021, only one more coin to go.

The problem with the UK 10 pence alphabet coins for 2018 and 2019 is that very few actually made out into the wild. Many of them were snagged by folks who have the right connections to the post offices that distribute new coins.
After the pain of 2018 of getting them, for 2019 I gave up and bought a set when it was available from a dealer.

You Brits didn't mint enough...If the US mint produces them in the same quantity as the ATB...no problem with circulation. KK

I'd like to see an end to the "Quarter of the Month". Pick a permanent design to continue forward and call it a day. I guess I'm just a grumpy old man who doesn't like change.

I've said it before... The mint has turned into the post office, like stamps.......there's a coin for every day of the week!!

I Personally think that our coins are due for a design change, and possibly sticking to one design per circulating coin, aside from circulating commemoratives, is the right move for the future of US coinage. I'm just bored with seeing the same busts on every coin year by year.

As long as "IN GOD WE TRUST" remains on US coins I don't think George or Abe have anything to worry about!
