I'm new to this forum, so I'll apologize in advance for my comments. My father passed away in May and it seems he has been collecting PCS coins for a great many years. I'm trying to clear out his apartment and he has hundreds of these coins. Some people say they are worth something, but I'm coming here to hopefully get a concrete answer. Thanks for any help!

Are you referring to the grading company PCS or the Postal Commemorative Society that packages coin and stamp sets?

The scarcity of individual dates and mint mark are what makes a coin valuable. So a blanket statement cannot be made as to values. If you are talking about the coins being in slabs (plastic holders) by the PCS company, generally this company is not seen as being reputable and consistent. However, he may have had some more rare items that might be worth extra. We need pics and examples.

Reply was split from this old topic, so it may be the latter...
