Any help identifying these would be greatly appreciated.

Hi everyone! After trying to translate these, I am pretty sure these are from the Ukraine. Other than that no information. I did an image search and nothing. Thanks again for any information.

Yeah, I looked too and couldn't find anything. It's definitely Ukraine related. The symbol on the flag is the national symbol of Ukraine. Possibly a coupon or a raffle ticket?

According to my Google translation app, the first side says something like "LIBERATION FUND OF UKRAINE" and "40 YEARS OF UKRAINIAN MAIN LIBERATION COUNCIL". Hopefully, one of our members can confirm and refine this translation to provide more info.

Google Translate says it's in the name of the "Ukrainian Liberation Fund", for their 40th anniversary - presumably "1963" is the date, in which case it commemorates something happening in 1923. There were lots of independence movements in Ukraine in the 1920s, when Ukraine was partitioned between Poland and the Soviet Union.

The people portrayed on the note are:
Stepan Bandera - right-wing militant and terrorist.
Roman Shukhevych - nationalist and Nazi collaborator.
"R. Voloshin" - not quite sure who he is. I found some reference online to someone by this name who worked with underground political movements that opposed all occupiers of Ukraine (Polish, Nazi and Soviet) in the 1940s.

It's denominated in dollars, so it's presumably a group based in America, something to do with fundraising for anti-Soviet activities in Ukraine. Perhaps it is just a receipt for donations.

Edit: Ninja'd by Spence.

Yes, last reply is right - it's a receipt for donation to Ukraine Liberation Fund.
These receipts were issued for donation to some civil organization supporting "liberation of Ukraine from the Soviet Union" or
in other words seek for independence. Very first issues of coupons were also distributed in Soviet Ukraine in 1944- 1953 to support
resistance of UPA (Ukraine Rebel Army) against Soviets. Some of the early issues are quite valuable though never circulated as a real money but more as a proof or loyalty to UPA. Later these were a kind of proof of donation to Ukrainian immigrants organizations acting mostly in USA in Canada. Since the coupon is dated 1963 and valued in USD I guess it's one of these and does not carry any bigger value. Persons depicted are also quite controversial especially Roman Shuchevich - one of the idols of Ukrainian nationalists, former officer of Nazi SS according to Israel Yad Va Shem foundation taking part of killing at least 4000 Jews in Lvov and Western Ukraine during Nazi occupation. So my guess it's one of the coupons or checks for donation made in USA to some Ukraine immigrants organization.
