Sorry for trying to consolidate all of these into one post. But I'm looking to get your guys/gals opinions on what kind of value I have for these. I've found no sort of list on how much in value one is increased or decreased in value with the tones.

I'm no expert on toning so I could be completely wrong, but that doesn't look like natural toning. Looks mere like heat treating. Like it was torched or baked.

I've seen what that can do to a coin because like you I thought the exact same thing. Torched coins get these like bubbles on them.

Quote: I've found no sort of list on how much in value one is increased or decreased in value with the tones. There is no list or price guide on toned coins. On Morgan's there are a number of factors that go into pricing the value. For example, the toning is natural, grade of coin, quality of toning, rarity of coin, toning colors and patterns. It also helps the value of toners to have them get a straight grade by NGC or PCGS. On your coin there is a little of rainbow toning on both side, but from your photos unable to make a judgement if the toning is natural or artificial. The coin also has some issues as the spots and finger print on obverse that would decrease the value.

Larger, sharper images would help.

Cleaned, ugly toning. Value? Maybe 20 to 23 $

Quote: Maybe 20 to 23 $ Better go to ebay and search "Toned Morgans" then look in the sold items - even low condition Morgans with just a touch of toning go for over 30$ - even those ridiculous Artificial Toned ones go for 50 and up.

It is what it is!

Toning appears artificial. A common date piece with Mint State details and a large fingerprint.
