Is An Error Or Just Damage? - Coin Community Forum

Skippy69 New Member United States 7 Posts	Posted 12/26/2020 03:47 am Can anyone please tell me weather this is error or damage. I personally think damage however I was pointed out a few things that have me now wondering. Coin weights 5.6 and seems to be cut or clipped in multiple spots and in one spot where clipped/cut there seems to be ridges on the edge of it as would a normal quarter. Thank y'all in advanced. Also where it's clipped/cut of course it's smaller then a quarter you hold next to it yet bigger in a spot where there's no clip/cut on either coin. Report this Post to the Staff

If I remember correctly spending a thousand hours in any particular field your considered an expert and I'm figuring it took many many hours for that many coins. Second, I agree with the others that this quarter has been heaving damaged and does not look like a mint error. The rim dings and bruises are causing the edge to be "squished" a little bit.
